Sounds of the Modern Commercial and
Military Digital Stations
(February 05, 1999)
A digital audio recording reference of modern commercial and military radio data
modems. Recordings feature true samples of digital data streams as digitized in my
lab with actual modems. Included are the regulars --- FSK, NBFSK etc... and some of
the new modes such as SERIAL (MIL-STD-188-110A), NB-SERIAL, NATO STANAG 4285, NATO STANAG
4529, 39 TONE (Multi Tone) etc... Now includes spectral
analysis views of the modem waveforms.
Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) Modem (March 07, 1999)
A basic fundamental description of the Automatic Link Establishment (ALE) system
accompanied with digital audio recording references and a spectral analysis view of an
AUTOLINK II Adaptive Controller Modem.
Sounds of Tactical Radio Jammers
(August 10, 1999)
A reference and digital audio recordings of HF, VHF and UHF tactical radio jamming
stations. Recordings featured are high quality samples digitized from actual jamming
equipment. This includes such sounds as Bagpipes, Stepped and Swept Tones just to
name a few. Now includes actual pictures of countermeasures equipment.
