Magellan GPS NAV 1000M (NSN 5825-01-355-6206)

General Description
The Magellan GPS NAV 1000M is a general purpose hand-held GPS Receiver utilized to computes accurate position co-ordinates, elevation, speed, and time information from signals transmitted by the Navstar Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites.  The receiver can be operated as a stand-alone unit using an internal battery pack (6 x AA) with an integral antenna or can be installed in ground facilities, and air, sea, and land vehicles using an external power source and an external antenna kit (NSN 5895-21-253-6525).
